The Social Mobility Foundation’s 2015 free programmes are now open. These programmes target high-achieving Year 12 (or S5) students from less-privileged backgrounds; such support enables students to access top universities and professions.
This year the Social Mobility Foundation has widened the eligibility criteria for their programmes, which are free and require very little teacher input and school time. Teachers can encourage their students to apply and write a reference to support their application.
Support is offered in 11 career sectors: accountancy, architecture, banking & finance, biology & chemistry, business, engineering & physics, law, media & communications, medicine, politics and technology.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 22 December 2014. For more information please visit www.socialmobility.org.uk
