I hope that the Government will continue to pull out all the stops to support struggling homeowners; even though new figures published last week showed the number of repossessions in 2009 was far less than originally forecast.
Lower interest rates and the Government’s measures to support people have helped more struggling families stay in their homes than previously predicted. The facts speak for themselves. Compared to previous recessions fewer houses have been repossessed. The Government are right to take action to help people keep their homes where possible.
