Letwell hosts its’ annual Summer Fayre on Saturday afternoon and there are many attractions taking place for people to enjoy.
The Fayre, which is being opened by Rotherham's World Cup Final referee Howard Webb, is hosting a wide variety of activities including shire horse dray rides, children's rides and games, and a display of farm machinery and historic double-decker buses.
Entertainment is provided by the famous Civil War re-enactment group the Sealed Knot and Thurcroft Brass Band, as well as teas being served all afternoon in the Village Hall. All proceeds from the event go towards the upkeep of St Peter's Church.
My congratulations go to everyone who has helped to organise the Fayre; we now just need the weather to improve for the weekend.
