The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) is currently taking applications for their 2013 Awards. The CSJ is looking for community-based charities and voluntary groups that are preventing poverty or helping people and families caught in damaging situations, to turn their lives around.
Applicants must be a voluntary group with charitable objectives (or a registered charity), working directly with people living in social or financial poverty in the UK, seeking solutions that will help people out of poverty and enable them to stay that way, and operating on an annual turnover of less than £3 million.
Successful charities will receive a £10,000 cash prize and will be recognised at a high-profile event in London in November. An independent judging panel will select the winning charities. The deadline for applications is Friday 28 June 2013. For more information and application forms visit www.centreforsocialjustice.org.uk/awards
