Harthill's annual carnival takes place this Saturday (12 July) on Spens Field in the village.
The carnival starts with the shire horse judging at 12pm, followed by the parade through the village at 12.15pm. Amongst the many attractions are a football freestyler, falconry and a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. There will also be a host of stalls, refreshments and fairground rides.
Admission is £2.50 for adults, £1 for children and senior citizens. Congratulations to all the people who help organise this event.
